      Amicette Club

    The first clubs of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. were formed in the 1950's under the names of Zetalites, Amicettes and
    Archonettes. These clubs were composed of young ladies between the ages of nine (9) and eighteen (18) who were
    matriculating in junior and senior high schools.

    These clubs were sponsored by various chapters of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority,Incorporated.
    Programs were developed, guidelines established and they became viable links of the Sorority.

    The purpose of the Amicette Club is to help young girls between the ages of 9 to 13 years old grow culturally, socially and
    educationally.  Club programs and projects vary according to members' interests and the needs of the community.

    The Amicette Club provides activities and opportunities to:

          * Encourage young ladies to accept responsibility;
          * Develop new interests;
          * Work toward creating happiness for others;
          * Develop an awareness of the need to share responsibilities and to understand
             one another in order to achieve a common goal; and
          * Develop a unique personality.

    The Sigma Psi Zeta Amicette Club began in 2006.  The Amicettes serve their community by donating clothing to the chapter's
    partnered school, Lewisdale Elementary and by supporting Sigma Psi Zeta in their Adopt-A-Road service.

    The Amicettes meet on the first Saturday of the month.
